Due to the nature of police work, being a police officer can have major impacts on an officer’s family—especially on their children—so it’s important this week to honor both officers and their families. WebEven in the small effects, police officers save lives 24/7, and there are few feelings as substantial as knowing that fact. As people, we sometimes take police officers for granted. They protect and serve us, arrest criminals and lay down their lives every day. I’m sure this profession that they are in is never easy but, is always life-changing.
