Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images were obtained on an S4800-Hitachi. Pore size distributions were calculated from N 2 isotherms using the Barrett–Joyner–Halenda (BJH) model. WebHigh quality MCM-41 silica with thick walls and a very narrow distribution of mesopore size has been synthesized in a relatively short time via ultrasound radiation.
